We are located in Traverse City Michigan, nestled along the shores of Lake Michigan’s Grand Traverse Bay known for our natural beauty, vibrant downtown, and thriving arts and food scene.
As our Data Analyst, you will play a key role working collaboratively with our existing team to help build more efficient work systems ensuring data integrity and supporting ongoing efficiency improvements. You will work with real world business data to identify opportunities to automate and streamline our processes and review, clean, and harmonize datasets.
Reports to: Director of Program Development
Location: Hybrid
Salary: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review incoming data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Clean, standardize, and manually harmonize data from multiple sources
- Collaborate with the existing team to identify automation opportunities
- Utilize Excel for core daily work; assist with Power BI dashboards and reporting as needed
- Apply SQL, Python, or other scripting skills (preferred) to support efficiency improvements
- Maintain clear documentation of processes and updates
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
- 1–3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with imperfect or incomplete data
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
Preferred (but not required)
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other scripting languages
- Experience with Power BI or equivalent BI tools a plus
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a data-related field
